The event featured giveaways, games, live music, and entertainment for the children and their families. Breya Birdsong, Bradley Company Community Care Coordinator and Event Board Member, reflected that “In agreeance with fellow Mapleton Fall Creek Community Partners like Tabernacle Presbyterian Church and Free Wheelin’ Community Bikes, it was a much-needed chance for the community as a whole to gather, and [the event] was greatly appreciated by our residents and neighbors.”
Thanks to the generosity of the participants and sponsors, the Mapleton-Fall Creek Community was able to give away backpacks, school supplies, bike helmets, snacks, and toys to the nearly two-hundred children in attendance. The police and fire departments made an appearance, interacting with the community. Local health care providers set up stations, offering free gear and information to attendees.
Bradley Company is proud to have been a sponsor of such an amazing community event. Breya Birdsong and Holly Ortiz, Assistant Property Manager, attended the event and spent the afternoon interacting with the children and their families and handing out treats.
