Private Equity Firm CEO Named Indiana Chamber Board Chair; New Board Members Added
December 1, 2023 (INDIANAPOLIS) — The Indiana Chamber of Commerce has named Devin Anderson – CEO of E&A companies, an Indianapolis-based investment firm that owns and operates multiple companies – as its new board chair.
A Franklin College alum, Anderson has long been engaged with the Indiana Chamber through its board, political affairs efforts and policy committees. Anderson also spent a decade early in his career working on several local, state and federal political campaigns as well as serving on Capitol Hill as chief of staff to Hoosier congressman David McIntosh.
“We know firsthand about Indiana’s strong business climate because we often relocate businesses to Indiana from other states like California, New York and Oregon,” Anderson shares, touting his passion for the Indiana Chamber’s mission. “The importance of keeping our climate as one of the best in the country is why I’ve been such a committed volunteer.”
Anderson will be the first board chair to work with Indiana Chamber President and CEO-elect Vanessa Green Sinders, who begins her tenure in January.
“Devin’s passion for advancing Indiana coupled with his innovative thinking make him such a valuable leader of our board at this critical time,” Sinders remarks. “Along with his significant business background, he brings decades of involvement with the Indiana Chamber, all which will help further our efforts to collaborate with stakeholders across the state to keep Indiana the place that businesses want to operate and where people want to live, work and visit.”
