The transaction began in 2019 as part of a two phase take down. The first phase closed in April 2020 and the second phase closed in May 2021.
After owning the property for three generations, the family made the decision to sell their property to Opus Development JV for $10,593,000. The developer intends to build a facility for Atkins Nutritionals as well as several other spec buildings.
According to Horrigan, “while this sale was delayed by COVID, all parties stayed focused on the desired end result and committed to working through all the challenges that typically come with a complex project of this size as well as those that the pandemic brought about unexpectedly!”
